DIY Pine Cone Door Hanger Another month, another decoration for your door! First, though, let me just say how excited I am to get to do a bunch of Christmas crafts and recipes!. This month, I'm using up old ribbon from Williams Sonoma gift wrap (we had SO much from wedding gifts!!) and some pine cones to make a festive bit of door.

Separate the loops and fluff to make a bow like the below pic (the pic below shows the autumn ribbon for this step). Cut a small 4-5″ strip of both the deco mesh and the orange burlap. overlap one on top of the other and scrunch them together in the middle. Secure with a pipe cleaner. Layer the bows on top of one another, orange mesh/burlap.

Step 2 - Attach the glittered pine cones around the mason jar lid using hot glue. Step 3 - Before adding the last pine cone, attach a bell to the mason jar lid using floral wire. Simply thread the floral wire through the bell and wrap it around the rim of the lid. Step 4 - Finish the door hanger by adding one pine cone in the middle to cover up the rim and bell.
